The project introduces a network of bird observation platforms strategically placed throughout the forest of the Karwendel region. These platforms not only serve as sanctuaries for avid birdwatchers but collectively transform into a unique avian museum, where you can also discover the behavior of the wildlife of the forest.
Scharnitz is a municipality near the Karwendel Nature Reserve.

 

In order to revitalize tourism in this area, a museum concept is to be developed that encompasses both nature and wildlife, particularly birds.

After successfully analyzing the behavior of the forest as well as researching individual bird species, including their habitats and nesting sites and identifying the necessary environmental conditions, the search for the construction site commenced. The platform network is placed at the heart of the bird territories near confirmed nesting sites.

So, the aim is to develop a museum that combines nature, wildlife, hiking, relaxation, and fascination.
